A stone slab is a flat, large-sized piece obtained from the cutting and processing of natural stone blocks, such as granite, marble, quartzite, or other ornamental rocks. Slabs are the intermediate form of raw material, used in the manufacturing of finished products such as countertops, floors, walls, cladding, and furniture.

These slabs are produced in varying thicknesses and sizes, depending on the application and project specifications. The surface of the slabs can be treated to achieve different finishes — such as polished, flamed, honed, or brushed.
